The results presented are based on questions asked in the national public health survey: How often did you drink alcohol in the past 12 months? How many 'glasses' (see example above) did you drink on a typical day when you drank alcohol in the past 12 months? How often did you drink six glasses or more at a time in the past 12 months?
The questions are based on the Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT). AUDIT was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) with the aim of identifying people whose alcohol consumption can damage their health.
The national public health survey is a sample survey of the country's population aged 16 and older. The population aged 16 to 84 are covered before 2021. The values presented are not adjusted for age.
