Indicator definition: Percentage (%) of patients treated for alcohol diagnosis (main or secondary diagnosis) in accordance with the patient register (inpatient care) that are re-admitted with alcohol diagnosis in the same calendar year (ICD-10: E24.4, F10, G31.2, G62.1, G72.1, I42.6, K29.2, K70, K85.2, K86.0, O35.4, P04.3, Q86.0, T51, Y90.1–Y90.9, Y91.1–Y91.9, Z50.2, Z71.4, Z72.1). The indicator is reported annually at country and county level (the county in which the patient was registered during the first hospital admission for the relevant diagnoses) and can be disaggregated by gender and age group.
