Indicator definition: Registered sales of alcoholic beverages, recalculated as litres of pure alcohol (100%) per inhabitant aged 15 and above. The indicator is reported annually. The segment Alcohol venues excl. medium-strength beer is presented at the national, county and municipal level, the segment Total excl. medium-strength beer and the segment Systembolaget are presented at the national and country level, whereas the segment Total incl. medium-strength beer is presented only at the national level. The segments Total excl. medium-strength beer and Total incl. medium-strength beer refer to the sum of sales at Systembolaget and venues licensed to serve alcohol.
