Obs:

The definition of the indicator is the indexed value of the number of liters of alcohol that can be affordable for an annual median income in the population. The index value is calculated with 2011 as the base year (2011=100), the remaining years' values can be interpreted as a percentage change since 2011. The annual median income is measured as the disposable household income based on household size. The indicator is divided into several beverage categories as spirits, wine, beer and cider/mixed drinks. The median income is calculated in different groups of the population aged 20 years and above.
