Read more about this in the quality declaration (in Swedish).'Kvalitetsdeklaration'
The results presented are based on questions asked in the national public health survey: Do you smoke? Do you use snus that contains tobacco (portion or loose)? Do you use tobacco-free nicotine snus (nicotine portions)? Have you ever smoked or used snus daily for a period of at least 6 months?
Questions about smoking/snus were changed in 2016. The term 'sometimes' has replaced 'from time to time'. The order of responses was changed in 2018, placing 'No' at the top. In the questionnaire for 2022, questions about tobacco and nicotine snus replaced the question: Do you take snuff or chew tobacco?
The national public health survey is a sample survey of the country's population aged 16 and older. The population aged 16 to 84 are covered before 2021. The values presented are not adjusted for age.
