As of 2024, all the statistics are included in Sweden's official statistics (SOS). In 2022 only some of the statistics were included as official statistics. Statistics for the years before 2022 were produced according to similar standards but do not have a declaration of quality. The results presented are based on questions asked in the national public health survey: How would you describe your overall health? Do you have any long-term illness, any problems following an accident, any reduced physical function, or any other long-term health problem? How satisfied are you with your current sex life? The national public health survey is a sample survey of the country's population aged 16 and older. The population aged 16 to 84 are covered before 2021. From 2021, individuals aged 25 and older are included in the statistics. Over the period 2010-2020, individuals aged 25-84 years are included in the statistics. Over the period 2004-2009, individuals aged 25-74 years are included in the statistics.
