Redovisningen bygger på frågor i Miljöhälsoenkäten:
Tabellen baseras på kombinerade frågor om man är allergisk/överkänslig mot pollen, pälsdjur, mögel, kvalster, nya textiler, ny inredning, starka dofter, nya byggnader. Svar: Ja, svåra besvär/Ja, lätta besvär/Ja, men inga besvär om jag medicinerar/Nej. Samt på fråga om hur man upplever bostadens luftkvalitet. Svar: Bra/ganska bra/varken bra eller dålig/ganska dålig/dålig.
