Redovisningen bygger på frågor i Miljöhälsoenkäten: Hur ofta medför trafikbuller (väg-, tåg- eller flygtrafik), i eller i närheten av din bostad, några av följande störningar? Dagligen/Varje vecka året runt/Varje vecka/Vissa delar av året/Mer sällan/Aldrig. I rapporteringen har kombinationer av all typ av störning som förekommer minst varje vecka använts, samt Socialstyrelsens miljöhälsoindikator: Sömnen störs (svårt att somna eller blir väckt) av trafikbuller dagligen/varje vecka året runt eller varje vecka vissa delar av året. Om kombinerade svar används tillsammans med enskilda kommer totalen bli större än 100 procent. Kommungrupp baseras på SKR:s kommungruppsindelning 2023. Miljöhälsoenkäten är en urvalsundersökning bland befolkningen 18-84 år.
